In situations where the volume of flatwork (sheets/pillowcases etc) warrants the use of something more than a hand iron. Calendar Drying Irons are fed linen at approximately 45% humidity and so in most instances for single sheet flatwork no drying or conditioning is required. Increased quality finishing and increased linen life, and lower electricity costs associated with tumble drying. Conventional Return Feed Roller irons can be installed against a wall to save space and will return the finished garment to the operator for folding. Volume and size of linen determines the size of the required roller iron.
