This R252-million state-of-the-art school opened its doors in 2021 in La Mercy, Durban, to equip pupils with skills for the fourth industrial revolution. The Anton Lembede Mathematics, Science and Technology Academy boasts more than twenty classrooms and can teach 600 pupils.
Their badge (featured left) depicts an element of education but also symbolises a bird taking flight, indicating our students’ potential for career opportunities after their learning experiences at the Academy.
The school was outsourcing their laundry and decided to incorporate an on-premise laundry to save on costs. We were thrilled to be involved.
We trust that their new laundry will be a valuable support to staff, teachers and learners and we wish the Anton Lembede Academy every success.
