New Energy Efficient Tumble Driers installed at UCT residences

Tumble driers consume more energy in the laundry environment than any other single piece of equipment.

UCT wanted to ensure the most energy efficient tumble drier solution was employed in all of their residences, and contracted us to replace all their old Speed Queen driers with more modern technology in the Speed Queen Model LDEE5 driers (which allows for moisture sensing) and so prevents the estimated minimum time for OVERDRYING of 8 min. Eight minutes of drying time saved across several hundred machines in multiple residences ensures material savings in electricity usage compared to electricity costs associated with older technology driers.
