Tygerberg Hospital is a tertiary hospital located in Parow, Cape Town. The hospital was officially opened in 1976 and is the largest hospital in the Western cape and the second largest hospital in South Africa with the capacity for 1899 beds.

Lead were recently contracted to provide new laundry equipment to assist with the anticipated increased processing demand expected as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Girbau (57Kg) and Speed Queen (62 Kg capacity) industrial washers are paired with 55kg Speed Queen tumble driers, adding an extra 228Kg per hour of linen processing capacity to the laundry. All equipment facilitating full thermal disinfection of processed linen.
